Ultraviolet UV

Ultraviolet (UV) light is a type of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths shorter than visible light but longer than X-rays. UV light is divided into three categories: UVA, UVB, and UVC, based on wavelength. In water treatment, UVC light is used for its germicidal properties. It effectively kills or inactivates microorganisms by disrupting their DNA, preventing them from reproducing and causing harm. UV technology is widely used for disinfection in water filtration systems, air purifiers, and surface sterilization, providing a chemical-free method to ensure safety and cleanliness.
